Turning a passion into a craft!

About 5 years ago, Drew Kelley’s wife gifted him a 5-gallon brewing starter kit for their 1-year wedding anniversary. The moment he first opened the kit, a potential hobby turned into a passion. Not long after that first extract batch was bottled, his brewing adventure began.

Why the name Smooth?

When it came time to name our brewery, one word stood out: smooth. It’s the perfect way to describe a dang good brew—rich, balanced, and easy to enjoy. But it’s more than just a taste. ‘Smooth’ reflects the confidence and personality where you can experience easy-going vibes where everything feels right. It’s a sense of calm, knowing each visit, brings that same experience that all is well. At Smooth Brewing Co., we’re all about creating that feeling of ease whether you are coming to eat and drink or just bringing the family out to enjoy the evening.
