About 5 years ago, Drew Kelley’s wife gifted him a 5-gallon brewing starter kit for their 1-year wedding anniversary. The moment he first opened the kit, a potential hobby turned into a passion. Not long after that first extract batch was bottled, his brewing adventure began. He immediately started researching all things beer brewing and decided to make the jump from extract to all grain for the next batch.

Unfortunately, the first all grain batch was far too bitter due to the heavy handed hopping that transpired. Despite dumping the entire batch, failure surprisingly made the founder more intrigued with the art of brewing than ever before. As time passed, he continued learning and invested in better equipment which led to better brews.

Fast forward to today, he has a growing portfolio of quality liquid and has partnered with others to help his dream of opening Smooth Brewing Co. come to fruition.
